So I got a trade today and thought it was funny because I noticed the Yahoo projections had Gronk scoring less than 80 points RoS (has since been updated), and DT less than 110 and thought that it was absurb. Quickly decided dude was trying to scam me assuming that I might use Yahoo's Evaluate Trade functionality to think it was a great deal.

Anywho I figured, why don't I see who the most overrated and underrated players are based on Yahoo vs FPros ROS Rankings (which I know aren't super reliable right now as there's only 5 sources, but it's what I have to work with).

The results are here in this google doc but here's my favourite buys and sells at each position:

RB

Targets: Latavius Murray: Yahoo has Murray projected to get 115 points in the remaining 14 games of the season, that's barely more than 8 points a game. I will be extremely surprised if this is the case. He's currently averaging almost 15 points a game and while he's got some tougher matchups coming up I still think he is criminally underrated in these projections.

Other Notables: Lacy, Hyde

Sell: Rashad Jennings: If you can convince your trading partner he's just off to a bad start you can point to things like Rashad having higher projections than either of the Murrays, Lacy and even AP.

Other Notables: Crowell, Forsett

WR

Target: Brandin Cooks: Here's a guy who was one of my favourite targets in drafts and he's projected about twice as far down the list as he should be. He's almost outside the top 20 when really I'd be very surprised if he isn't a top 10 WR at the end of the season.

Other Notables: Beckham Jr, Evans, K Benjamin, DT, Diggs, Gordon, Brown

Sell:Marvin Jones: Listen I like Jones but Yahoo has him outscoring guys like Nelson, Cooks, Cooper. I'd take any of those guys for him. Best chance to trade is probably to someone who needs a WR but has extra RBs (then again there's not a lot of extra RBs going around).

Other Notables: T Benjamin, V Jackson

TE

Target: Julius Thomas: Thomas is off to a good start his year and is seeing a good amount of targets while capitalizing him, Yahoo hasn't caught up yet.

Sell: Antonio Gates: Aside from one TD, Gates hasn't done anything, sell him while Yahoo is still high on him.

There's lots more in there, also some stuff that may be misleading (ie Charles as a sell target), but take a look and let me know what you all agree or disagree with. Thanks!
