With James Cook potentially out with turf toe, would you rather have Ray Davis? Or Ty Johnson?
Ray Davis over the last 5 weeks had decent usage (26 ATT, 75 RYD, 4 REC, 18 PYD, 1 TD) but was honestly not that productive… he is a rookie however so you would think the bills try to slowly give him more exposure.
Ty Johnson on the other hand has had less usage but he had 3 ATT in week 5 compared to Ray Davis with zero (maybe tides changing towards Johnson?). He is currently sitting at (10 ATT, 42 RYD, 4 REC, 61 PYD, 1 TD)
It feels like a coin flip at this point and with James Cook potentially out anywhere from 1-3 weeks, it might be good to pick up one of them. Question is who?
ATT - Attempts RYD - Rushing yards REC - Receptions PYD - Passing yards TD - Touchdowns
EDIT: for those asking where I see this. Here is the information -
“POTENTIALLY out with turf toe.”
He hyperextended his toe last week and his injury is designated as foot/toe as he missed practice today. Given it’s a ligamental injury, it takes time to heal and it’s better to plan ahead.
