MockoSheet 2024 v2.5 - Projections Update, IDP Support, More Stats
EDIT6: Aug 29th: I'll be taking requests all the way through next Wednesday so feel free to post here or shoot me a message. Remember: If you need something very urgently or need specific help, contact me on Discord because I see those messages first. Definitely check out the database in case there's a similar or matching league to your format if I can't get to you. Thanks for being patient!
I sincerely appreciate you all for your support and feedback. If I missed you in the last 2 threads or missed your message on here or on Discord, please let me know and I'll get you a sheet ASAP. My goal is to get a sheet to everyone who wants one.
Did you all know there were hundreds of different league formats? I sure do now.
What is MockoSheet?

If this is your first time seeing this--MockoSheet is my attempt at a draft aid inspired by the work done by Beersheets, BorisChen, FantasyFootballAnalytics, FantasyCalc, JuiceboxOne with a focus into finding the best way to show draft data, compare players, and keep track of player rankings put together using projections that are pooled and weighted based on last yearâs accuracy, and scaled from 15 (up from 14!) separate sources. As last year was the first year I put together the sheet, the weights will (hopefully) get progressively better over time. Last year, Mocko outperformed every individual site's projections that were used in the pooled projections bar one (Numberfire did great last year). Importantly, MockoSheet can support most league types including snake, auction, dynasty, and keeper with scaling for most specific league settings.
I frequently do deep dives into fantasy football data with the goal of increasing the amount of science-backed information. Charts are fun. Since you're here, check out the ADP boards for the Discord RUFFL and FFC Tournaments (HPPR) to see how multiple focused leagues are drafting compared to Sleeper's ADP.

IDP SUPPORT
IDP drafters can now get a MockoBoard!
- MockoBoard--An on-request big board used as a companion sheet for people who want to see a full overview of VAL for their league type (https://imgur.com/a/Qsf9cYN). If you are in an IDP league, you'll always get this alongside a MockoSheet. On request, I will re-sort it based on what you need.
Auction Draft Sheets (https://i.imgur.com/0zLDZBd.png)
- Features:
- Adjusting AAV (AdjAAV) values that scale with keepers and league budget.
- $VAL: Projected cost of players based on their format-specific VAL (basically how much each player should go for based on projections)
- VAL-AAV: The price at which a player becomes good value based on the positional market and projected scoring. Player's current AdjAAV that is higher than VAL-AAV is marked with a " " indicating good values. Calculated by Linear Regression (AdjAAV vs. Proj Points) and determining expected points per pick given the player's position. Allows for quickly identifying general bid up to values in combination with $VAL.
- $ DYN: Mocko VAL combined with pooled dynasty rankings from KTC/FantasyCalc/FantasyNavigator/DynastyProcess. 500 is max value in Snake. This is admittedly a bit jank but it acts as a way to quickly gauge dynasty value for specific league formats in a way that other dynasty auction numbers might not be able to do.
- Personal budget tracker: Input how much you want to spend on each player and track your draft's budget by filling in the amount spent on each player you draft. Does not support full league tracking--I figured that might be best for a draft app instead.
V2.5 Sheet Database for Snake and Auction
- I realized the last databases made it very difficult to find a relevant sheet for your league. Please check the revised version below which has better organization. I am currently iterating every normal league to hopefully save on turn around time and implemented a much better system for me to add sheets. Sorry if you spent time in the old databases looking for something that might not have been there.
Snake and Auction Draft Database
Sheet Requests:
If you want a specific sheet for your format: post it in the comments or DM @mosers15 on Discord for a MockoSheet request. Please provide:
- League Size
- Roster Setup
- STD/HPPR/PPR/Tiered
- Scoring settings that aren't default (4pt vs 6pt Pass TDs, yds/pt, etc.)
- Specific needs (like split auction/snake drafts/budget, etc.)
Please check the Database file to see all the settings that I have control over and for examples.
Also important since it was asked a few times: The sheets won't get updated data pushed to them--you'll need a new sheet for it to update. This is also something I'll try and figure out for next season.
Quality Data is Key and Strategy is League, Scoring, AND Pick Specific.
Remember:
- Projections are better than rankings and can be customized to your league settings.
- Sites vary in consistency, so don't rely solely on one site's rankings unless they use multiple sources (e.g., FantasyPros).
- Using multiple sources for projections and ADP (Average Draft Position) is better than relying on a single ranking source.
- Understand that projections will only ever be so good. Mocko was 70-80% accurate when taking into account âqualifiedâ players.
- While rankings and tiers help you evaluate player-to-player worth, itâs important to know how your specific draft might play out and capitalize on the market (ADP/AAV).
- Be flexible with your strategy and have contingency plans.
- Drafts are only 10-20% of any given season. You can't win the league from the draft alone but you can definitely set yourself to succeed more.
- Numbers are fun, but as my friends tell me, vibes based drafting (the real VBD) is good too.
- Early QB is a great strategy.
Coming soon:
- Mocko Cube Draft: A gimmick card-based draft format that uses Mocko projections to determine card rarity. My real passion project.
- Mocko PPR and SFLEX v2.5 permutation analysis
Only ~10 days to go!
