Underrated players at each position
Post Body

Forgive me if this has been done to death but I just wanted to add my two cents in. I just want to give a quick breakdown of some players who I think will outshine their ADP and who you should draft a round earlier than projected.

QB

Joe Burrow - injuries have suddenly become a concern, but he is an elite quarterback in a very good offense. They're pretty pass-happy so the opportunity for big numbers is there. I'm seeing him go anywhere between 60-80. He is a difficult QB to project bc his name-value could boost his ADP depending on who is in the league. He has excellent value after 65.

Kyler Murray - he's a dual-threat quarterback. Mobile quarterbacks can be a cheat code as they off-set mediocre passing numbers. Kyler is somewhat streaky but still gifted. His passing numbers haven't been elite but Kyler could finally hit 4000 if MHJ meets expectations.

Aaron Rodgers - You can probably get him super late. It's a risk to make him your QB1 but I wouldn't be surprised if he has a strong bounce back. He has amazing value after pick 85.

Jared Goff - Excellent OL, elite WR, not one but two very good RBs, Detroit will also play like 14 of their first 15 games in a dome. You can probably get him after pick 100. He's a very safe 2nd QB to have and one who proves to be a good QB1.

RB

Raheem Mostert - I've been getting him in mocks after pick 90. Achane is small and injury-prone so I doubt he'll be be the lead. I imagine Mostert will still be a fixture in a very good offense unless he gets cut. He's an absolute steal after 80.

David Montgomery - Dan Campbell likes to run the ball, so Jahmyr Gibbs won't be the only back getting love. He's the more powerful of the two so he could still get cherished red-zone touches that could happen frequently in this potent offense.

James Conner - Injuries are a concern but he absolutely thrived in an unideal situation last year. Conner hit 1K rushing yards on 5 yards per carry with Josh Dobbs and a still-recovering Kyler Murray at QB. Conner is in a much better situation in 2024. Don't let MHJ's presence scare you off; Conner is quietly one of the best backs in the league and should get good volume.

WR

Steffon Diggs - The Texans receiving room is stacked i.e. crowded. This has lowered Diggs' ADP, which is fair. I think he'll be a great complement to Collins and Dell in what was a vertical offense last year. I could see Stroud looking to Diggs early and often underneath. Don't rule out100 catches.

Cooper Kupp - Puka is special but when healthy, Cooper Kupp has a special chemistry with Matthew Stafford that shouldn't be ignored.

Jayden Reed - It could very easily be Romeo Doubs or Dontavious Wicks, but one of GB's young WRs could rise from the crop and emerge as a very productive player. Reed has very good upside after pick 80. The other two should be available after 100, so be on the lookout for them too.

TE

Jake Ferguson - CeeDee Lamb will hoard targets but Ferguson could be the 2nd option in this offense. You can probably get him in the high 80s or 90s, so he is a very solid option if you punt TE.
