Morning all, before I start, I want to give a shoutout to jayzheng and his awesome draftaid. It's been what I recommend most people since he launched it (6 years ago?), it's simple, it's easy to use, and it works.
Recently I was trying out some other options with added complexity and kept coming back to, I wish this was as smooth as JZ's but with some more info. That's when I discovered JZ had published his code on github and so with almost no prior react experience I went in and broke it, and slowly rebuilt it over the weekend into:
It's hopefully functionally the same, but now runs off and displays Value of Next Available data, which has always been one of my preferred draft tools. Set the amount of teams in your league and your pick, and it'll highlight who the best options are compared to who should be available to you next time your pick is up.
Currently it runs of FantasyPros projections and adp (which they compile from other sites), but there's also the option to download the csv template and upload your preferred or adjusted values for projections or adp.
Aside from that should be fairly straightforward, Val column is probably the most important one to watch and the only setting that may raise questions is the adpBuffer. Basically this can be adjusted to pretend more picks are occurring between your picks to be a bit more cautious. For example say Herbert and Fields are normally expected to be available for your next pick but you have a buffer added making it so they're no longer, it'll highlight that if a run on QBs happens between now and then might leave you in a rough spot.
Anyway, something I mostly built for myself but thought I'd share. Feel free to give feedback and ask questions. (also, before anyone asks, no current plans to bring back my proj heatmaps this season buuut, building stuff in this space kind of makes me want to rebuild them... so we'll see)
