Regal announces that due to the draft NXT has lost their nxt champion tommaso ciampa and northamerican champion johnny gargano and that tonight it would start a tournament for the NXT Title, this idea was suggested by his new assistant, after saying this william regal introduces kurt angle who promises to make NXT even greater than what it is today, after this we get shown the graphics for the NXT championship tournament which show that the tournament has 8 participants: pete dunne, jeff hardy, EC3, aj styles, kona reeves, bobby lashley, tino sabatelli and dolph ziggler
