Post Body

Since everybody here is busy booking Wrestlemania 40, I decided to have a little fun and make my card for Wrestlemania 41 about fifteen months in advance. I’ve tried to keep the card as realistic as possible by not having too many wrestlers from outside WWE suddenly join the company. I’ve also thought of NXT 2.0 stars and how they may be integrated into the main roster.

Night One

  1. Ilja Dragunov vs Drew McIntyre for the Intercontinental Championship

A hard hitting match between two hard hitting athletes. Ilja tries to defend his title against Drew, a man who has been chasing the prestigious title for many years. In the end, Ilja comes out on top and cements himself as the most dangerous man in WWE.

  1. Dakota Kai/Tegan Nox vs Cora Jade/Roxanne Perez vs Alba Fyre/Isla Dawn vs Chelsea Green/Carmella for the Women’s Tag Championships

A fun and chaotic tag match to cool down the crowd after the previous match. In the end, the newly reunited team of Dakota and Tegan pick up the win.

  1. Carmelo Hayes vs Logan Paul

After arriving onto the main roster after Mania XL, Carmelo Hayes quickly rises up the ranks as the hot new superstar of WWE. He is challenged by Logan Paul, a man who similarly has the athleticism, charisma and IT factor that Carmelo has. The two face off in a high-flying match with Carmelo managing to beat Logan.

  1. Solo Sikoa vs Bron Breakker for the United States Championship

After betraying his leader Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa quickly rises up the ranks and wins the US championship. However, his betrayal has consequences as Paul Heyman brings his new client, Bron Breakker, to exact revenge. After several months of brawls across arenas, the two finally meet in a chaotic match at Mania with Bron emerging as the stronger man and winning his first championship.

  1. Randy Orton vs John Cena - Last Time Ever

For a big marquee match, Orton and Cena clash for one last time at the showcase of immortals. In the build up, both men talk about their careers, their histories together and how they’ve evolved over time. The match itself is highly emotional, with both men countering each other and knowing each other’s every move. After a long and grueling match, it is Randy Orton that manages to pick up the win. The two men shake hands and hug in the middle of the ring and exit together to a huge ovation.

  1. Sami Zayn/Kevin Owens vs Montez Ford/Angelo Dawkins vs Johnny Gargano/Tomasso Ciampa vs Julius Creed/Brutus Creed for the Tag Team Championships

After several months of various amazing tag team matches, the four best tag teams in the world with the best chemistries decide to tear it down in the ring for the prestigious tag titles. The match is clash of styles. In the end, the Creed Brothers energy victorious through their mixture of strength, speed and athleticism.

  1. Jade Cargill vs Tiffany Stratton for the Smackdown Women’s Championship

The two rapidly developing women superstars have a huge match at Mania for Jade’s championship. The match is a clash of personalities, with Jade’s larger than life, no nonsense demeanor clashing with Tiffany’s over-the-top and flashy personality. The two have an impressive match featuring great displays of power, speed and agility. In the end, Tiffany picks up the win, setting herself up as a big player in the division.

  1. Gunther vs Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship

For the main event, two of the final bosses of WWE clash in a massive fight. Gunther, having won the world title at Bash at Berlin, fights the tribal chief Roman Reigns. The match has a big fight feel and it is slow and methodical but very hard hitting. After 20 minutes of both men fighting tooth and nail, Gunther manages to vanquish Reigns and cements himself as the biggest and baddest in WWE.

Night Two

  1. Finn Balor vs AJ Styles in AJ Styles’ retirement match

After a long and storied career, AJ Styles announces that his match at Mania will be his last and issued an open challenge. His challenge is accepted by Finn Balor, who has tons of history with AJ inside and outside the WWE ring. The two have long promo battles before their match where they mention the influence they have had on the business. The match itself is a 25 minute technical masterpiece. AJ picks up the win and retires, shaking Finn’s hand on the way out.

  1. Becky Lynch/Charlotte Flair/Bayley/Sasha Banks vs Iyo Sky/Kairi Sane/Asuka/Giulia

After many months of fighting between Damage Control and each member of the four horsewomen, the four influential stars decide to unite to defeat their common enemy. In a massive tag match, both teams give it all they have got with constant chaos and violence throughout. The four horsewomen finally pick up the win and celebrate together.

  1. Liv Morgan vs Raquel Rodriguez for the new Women’s Intercontinental Championship

After a long tournament is held to decide the new champion, the final two are former friends and workhorses of the women’s division, Liv and Raquel. Raquel turns heel and the two have a David vs Goliath match to crown the new champion. In the end, Raquel proves too much for Liv and wrecks her to crown herself as the new women’s intercontinental champion.

  1. Dominik Mysterio vs Rey Mysterio - If Rey loses, he retires

After many years of fighting, the father and son have one final match with the big stipulation. After several minutes of competitive action, Dominik manages to pin his father. Despite years of torment, Rey extends his hand for his son to take one last time. Dominik accepts and the two have a tearful reunion, with Rey passing the torch to Dominik.

  1. LA Knight vs CM Punk

This match is a huge clash of personalities, with both men having different journeys to the same destination. The two have weeks of verbal battles with both tearing each other down. The match itself is competitive but in the end, it is LA Knight that manages to pick up the win.

  1. Jey Uso/Dragon Lee/Chad Gable/Braun Strowman/Ricochet(Smackdown) vs Jimmy Uso/Shinsuke Nakamura/Bobby Lashley/Pete Dunne/Tyler Bate in a 5v5 Brand Warfare match

This match acts as a cool down after the last few matches. Jey and Jimmy collide once again, this time as leaders of their respective brands. After 10 minutes on nonstop action, Dragon Lee manages to pin Pete Dunne to pick up the win for his team.

  1. Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins for the Undisputed WWE Championship

After beating Roman Reigns at Mania XL, Cody has a year long title reign, beating multiple challengers. His challenger for Mania ends up being Seth, who returns at the Rumble after a successful back surgery. Seth promises that he will not let Cody beat him again after he had already beaten him thrice before. The two have a fantastic match that rivals their previous three. Seth sticks to his promise and beats Cody for the title, getting his big Mania moment.

  1. Bianca Belair vs Rhea Ripley for the Raw Women’s Championship

The main event of the entire weekend is the clash between two of the biggest stars of the past five years. After years of confrontations, Bianca Belair wins the Royal rumble and challenges Rhea Ripley, hoping to end her two year long title reign. The match is built up as one of the biggest Mania matches of all time. The two women have the highly anticipated match for over 25 minutes. In the end, Bianca manages to beat Rhea to a huge ovation, ending Mania on a high note.

That is my booking for Mania 41. I would love to hear your thoughts.
