Each match in this rebooking pits a star of the past against a star of the future. Since this period was when the New Era started, I think this rebooking would have been a better event than the one we got by passing the torch onto the newer generation of stars.

Samoa Joe vs Brock Lesnar

After debuting at the Royal Rumble, Joe would challenge Lesnar to a match and begin to attack him to set up the match in order to prove that he is the baddest man in WWE. The match would be a 10 minute collision course with Joe choking Lesnar out and winning.

Sasha Banks vs Charlotte Flair vs Bayley vs Nia Jax

This is the only match that remains the same and does not have a past vs future theme. It goes the same as it did in real life.

Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton

As months go by, Randy Orton starts to become crazier and crazier as part of the Wyatt Family. Ultimately, Bray realizes that he cannot control the insanity of Orton and turns on him to defeat him once and for all. The match goes 15 minutes with Bray managing to survive Orton’s insanity and beating him.

The Hardy Boyz vs The New Day

The New Day issue an open challenge for their Raw tag team titles which is answered by the returning Hardy Boyz. The two teams have a surprisingly great match and the Hardy Boys pick up the win. They shake the New Day’s hand and promise them rematch.

Dean Ambrose vs The Miz

This feud is pushed back a few months to take place at Wrestlemania. Despite one being a dangerous lunatic and the other being safe and calculating, both superstars have one thing in common: they are the workhorses of the WWE. And so they have a fantastic match for the workhorse title of the WWE. In the end, Ambrose picks up the win.

Roman Reigns vs Goldberg

After knocking him out of the Royal Rumble, Roman heads down a path that leads him directly to the most destructive man in WWE: Goldberg. The two superstars have a dream match against each other in a 5 minute all out war. In the end, Goldberg attempts to spear Reigns which is avoided as Reigns hits his own deadly spear to pick up the win. Goldberg nods at him after the match, acknowledging him.

Seth Rollins vs Triple H

This match and the build up go exactly the same as it did in real life. Seth picks up the win after a brutal match.

Alexa Bliss vs Trish Stratus

After beating all women on Smackdown for her title, Alexa Bliss is challenged by a women who she has been long compared to: Trish Stratus. The two fight over her Smackdown Women’s Title and Alexa has to scratch and claw to keep up with Trish’s experience. However, she uses her cunning and intelligence to beat Trish and cement herself as the top women of WWE.

Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho

After months of friendship, Kevin turns on his best friend Chris in a heartbreaking moment. The two decide to have a match to see who is the best wrestler on the planet right now, with both wrestler putting up their own championship on the line for a winner take all match. The two have a long, physical and emotional match which is won by Kevin after he repeatedly powerbombs Chris and pins him.

The Undertaker vs “The Demon” Finn Balor

The Undertaker, not having a clear opponent for Wrestlemania, lays out an open challenge which is answered by Finn Balor. While Taker initially dismisses him, the Demon begins to play mind games with him, prompting Taker to take him seriously and play mind games of his own. At Wrestlemania, Finn initially dominates Taker through his speed and fury, but in the end is no match for Taker’s strength, will and experience and Taker beats him.

AJ Styles vs John Cena

After losing his title to Cena at the Royal Rumble, AJ Styles demands one last chance at his title by challenging Cena to a match in the main event of Wrestlemania. After a fantastic 30 minute match, AJ Styles beats Cena for the title. Cena raises his hand and Styles turns face and becomes the new champ who runs the camp.
