At Money In The Bank 2013, CM Punk managed to win the MITB briefcase, which meant he could cash it in for a world title at any time at any place.

At Summerslam , Daniel Bryan would win the WWE championship from John Cena in a grueling match. CM Punk would appear after the match with Paul Heyman to tease a cash in. Triple H would shockingly pedigree Bryan and help CM Punk cash in his briefcase and win the title.

The next night, Punk would align himself with the Authority. He would explain that he tried to fight back against the Authority before and because of that, he was relegated to playing second fiddle to their golden boy John Cena. It also cost him his Wrestlemania main event to Dwayne. And the people booed him instead of supporting him. So now he has aligned himself with the Authority to finally take his rightful place as the top guy of WWE.

The next few Pay per views, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan would have a series of five star matches with each other with Bryan getting screwed out of each match. At Night of Champions, the Shield would interfere and cost Bryan the match. After this event, the Authority would demand Paul Heyman (who is still aligned with Punk) to find a solution to the Daniel Bryan problem. Thus, at Battleground, Paul Heyman would introduce his solution to be Brock Lesnar, who would decimate Bryan in the match and injure his ribs, allowing Punk to win.

Punk would find a new challenger in the form of Randy Orton and try to use this opportunity to take revenge for his loss against Orton a few years prior at Wrestlemania. Meanwhile, Bryan would go after Brock, but get even more injured due to Brock’s attack. The Hell In A Cell card would include the following matches:

1. CM Punk vs Randy Orton inside Hell in a Cell for the WWE championship
2. Daniel Bryan vs Brock Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell
3. John Cena vs Alberto Del Rio for the world heavyweight championship

These three feuds would continue onto Survivor Series. Punk would beat Orton again, Cena would beat Del Rio again, and Bryan would take revenge on Brock by rolling him up and beating him.

Punk and Cena would enter a feud to unify the two world titles. Meanwhile, Bryan and Orton would team up against the Shield in their fight against the Authority. The TLC cards would have the following matches:

1. CM Punk vs John Cena in a TLC match for the WWE and world heavyweight championships
2. Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton vs The Shield in a handicap match

Brock Lesnar would return to exact revenge on Bryan at the event to set up their third and final match. Punk and Cena would continue their feud into the next event. The Royal Rumble events would have the following matches:

1. CM Punk vs John Cena for the world championships
2. Daniel Bryan vs Brock Lesnar in a last man standing match
3. Daniel Bryan wins the 2014 Royal Rumble

This event would mark the return of Batista, who would eventually be eliminated by Roman Reigns in the match. Triple H meanwhile, would try to solve the Daniel Bryan problem himself by challenging him to a match. The Elimination Chamber event would include the following matches:

1. CM Punk wins the elimination chamber match for the world championships
2. Daniel Bryan vs Triple H
3. Batista vs Roman Reigns

Triple H would ask Batista to join the Authority, but Batista would refuse. This would anger Triple H, who would request Heyman to bring back the Beast to put Batista in his place. Meanwhile, Orton, frustrated with being screwed out of the world title so many times, would attack Triple H himself to take revenge. The Shield would begin a long awaited feud with the Wyatt Family. John Cena, having no clear opponent for the biggest event of the year, would challenge the Undertaker, who would accept. Punk and Bryan would prepare for one last match to determine who the greatest wrestler in the world truly is.

The Wrestlemania 30 card would look like this:

1. Batista vs Brock Lesnar
2. The Shield vs The Wyatt Family
3. Randy Orton vs Triple H in a No DQ match
4. Cesaro wins the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale
5. The Undertaker vs John Cena
6. AJ Lee wins a women’s match for the Divas Championship
7. Daniel Bryan vs CM Punk in a 2/3 falls match for the world championships

This rebooking would finally give Punk his main event, give Bryan a mega push by giving him wins over Lesnar, Triple H, a victory in the Royal Rumble and the main event of Wrestlemania, and it would provide more dream matches at Mania.
