Hello all, wanted to get everyone’s opinions on what would be the best idea. Currently we’re a 12 team CAT league, but it’s a bit quirky with the rules compared to the typical CAT league. It’s 15 CAT league and we only start 5 players, PG through C, with 10 bench slots. Trying to mimic actual NBA rosters.
Everyone sans maybe one person are all largely active and make moves but I’d say half aren’t fantasy sweats but overall I’m very happy with the league. We’ve been doing a standard two keepers for the past couple seasons and we’re looking into doing a dynasty maybe. Is there a benefit of doing dynasty over keepers? My thoughts are that it’s not like football where there’s always gonna be a decent influx of skill position players that come in and will make an impact so it wouldn’t make sense to me do that but maybe there’s other ways you guys have set the leagues up. I just don’t want to make it too convoluted and decrease peoples interest. I’m also fine with keepers, but want to spruce it up so that way some players are stuck in purgatory forever on one team. So I’ve thought about doing a deal where you can keep someone max 3 years and then they go back into the pool. Just curious to get everyone’s thoughts and insight.
TLDR; need advice on doing either keepers or dynasty going forward
