This is a question I have for pretty much anyone who's done a fanedit. How exactly did you get started? What made you want to make your own fanedits and what did you do to figure out the necessary steps for what you wanted to accomplish? For a while now I've been wanting to make my own edit of Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Beginning and the 2003 remake into one movie, but it seems like a daunting process trying to make sure what I cut out and add in flows well. I scrapped what I had already started on when I realized what I essentially was doing was just removing scenes and transitions from the movie without making them come together well. It was a mess of jump cuts. Does anyone have any tips/resources that could be useful?
