Design

Twenty Øne Piløts is a fleet of planes: 5 fighter jets, 5 attack aircraft, 5 helicopters, 5 bombers, and 1 military transport aircraft. The transport is the size of an average human head, while the other planes are the size of a hand.

Abilities

Each plane serves a separate purpose, and each has a pilot that can communicate directly with the stand user. This communication comes in the form of a video game headset, complete with microphone.

Fighter jets zoom by the target at incredible speeds, but do not attack outside of a couple of rockets.

This leads the way for the bombers and aircraft to either bomb or shoot at the intended target.

The helicopters each come equipped with a spotlight to illuminate dark areas, as well as Machine guns for attack.

The transport is used to conceal the other planes, either deploying them to attack or to recall them for protection. Being the largest, it can withstand most attacks better than the smaller planes, but possesses no offensive capabilites. Also, the transport has no radar or communications.

User

Stephen "Ace" Lee is a 24-year-old half-American, half-Japanese Air Force pilot. Ace's mother immigrated to the states from Japan and married an American man. Both families have a history of military service, both as far back as WWII. This resulted in Ace's love for planes, wanting to be a pilot like his ancestors.

On deployment during the war in Afghanistan, Ace's father was shot down by an enemy RPG, resulting in his death. Following the death of his father, Lee and his mother kept on living, doing their best to survive. Despite his mother's protests, Ace joined the Air Force at 16, fabricating his age. Despite a decorated career, at age 21, Ace was discovered to have lied about his age and given a dishonorable discharge.

Ace soon discovers it was his own mother who told the military about his lie, and refused to return home to her. One night, in a drunken stupor, he is attacked by a group of his former Air Force members. Because of his discharge and his Japanese heritage, they assaulted him before being attacked by "invisible planes". Ace didn't know it at the time, but this was the first use of Twenty øne Piløts, which were awaken from the memories of his father, as well as his pilot ancestors.

Now a drifter, Ace wanders from city to city, using his stand to defend others or kill whomever stands his way of protecting others.
