Stand Concept: Figure Eleven

Post Body

Named after Finger Eleven and based loosely on Paralyzer's lyrics and the Marvel hero known as Kitty Pryde.

Figure Eleven is a close-ranged combatant stand with two hands on each arm; the left arm has two three-fingered hands while the right arm's outermost hand is missing a thumb. These hands are meant to be aesthetically similar to a standard human's five-fingered hands, save being split in two. Further description is a work in progress.

The stand's ability, in addition to the classic "consecutive simple punches" which is a signature of the series, is to render any nonliving object it punches impermeable. The object maintains its original momentum, but otherwise cannot be touched or otherwise affected by solid objects, usually resulting in the object in question plummeting to the center of the earth as gravity takes a hold. The stand is fast enough to punch bullets mid-flight. This is not entirely meant to be in keeping with the Jojo tradition of guns Being Useless, but is a convenient side effect. Additionally, the stand cannot affect living matter in any way, meaning the user has to attack their opponents directly. (Enemy stands do not count as living matter, but do not transfer any impermeability to their users, making the ability essentially pointless to use since most stands can hover ominously over their user's shoulders. The stand's own power prevents it from dealing significant damage to an enemy stand, but also prevents that stand from damaging the user.)

The stand and user's main weakness, to quote a wise yet acerbic youth, is as follows: "I can't beat the shit out of you without getting closer." Most stands have a means of closing the gap between themselves and their opponents, be it by moving sufficiently quickly or by attacking from a distance. Figure Eleven has no such means, meaning that in order to win fights against enemy stands the user has to close the distance by foot or equivalent.

I had this idea, found this forum, and decided to share what I have. If anybody decides to do something with it, please let me know; itll be interesting to see how it develops.
