Okay so I’m wondering if I’m the asshole in the situation, me and my mom already didn’t get along when I was away in college and had to move back to my Original state I went to high school in and suggested I move back in with her to save money. We agreed and I had no plans of getting furniture saving up or really planning any bit of moving on my own including selling current furniture at the time furniture. She tells me about two weeks before moving in that I can’t move in with her and I need to get my own place I then do. It’s 6 months down the line and my place isn’t furnished and I’m okay with that because I don’t invite anyone here I just study sleep eat and watch movies on my one chair and desk and bed frame as a 23 year old. We’re talking on the phone now and she’s upset I haven’t invited her over I let her know I have no furniture and will not be inviting anyone until I do. She goes on about being there for each other even at rock bottom but I wouldn’t be in this rock bottom if she let me live with her I rushed to live on my own and I’ve accepted it but now I want to go at my own pace. She now says I’m weirdly secretive and ya why would I want to tell you anything
