I think my husband MAY be bipolar or some sort of mood disorder. This has been going on as long as I've known him which is 10 years and only getting worse. This summer I've seen the most changes. He is like totally shut down. I don't want to self diagnose him but I'd like to ask those if you who are familiar if any of this gives red flags. So he has a history of addiction alcohol and as a teen pills. He has been sober though aside from marijuana that he self medicates with bc of his broken ankle injury he had as a teen. Anyways I always noticed his moods will change so quickly. One min he can be in a good mood next he is just plain annoyed or frustrated. Any little thing of inconvenience will bring him from 0-60, he has had a History of complaining of sleep issues but then he will be fine, he does have a history of suicide attempt, very low lows like sooo depressed and everything is bleak with no hope for him, his sister has been diagnosed bipolar and she also has had suicidal attempts, and lately he keeps saying he feels he's going to have a moment where he "snaps". He always seems lost and zoning out I know this all sounds just like depression but it feels more extreme with how up and down he gets and I'm sure I'm missing more symptoms as well. Just wanted to see if this struck any ideas. Thanks guys
