For context, I'm 18 but I'm quite emotionally sensitive and I still live with my parents.
Yesterday my mom and dad started drinking, they both have an alcohol problem, although my mom has worse hangovers and my dad is worse, he drinks almost every day. My mom didn't drink before, but since this year she has been drinking more frequently, to the point that she drank last week and now she started drinking again.
I couldn't stand it anymore and I started crying a lot, I exploded. I went to complain to her and she told me that she drank that last beer and went to bed, but obviously that wasn't true. When I went to the living room in the morning, I even saw a half-empty flask of whiskey.
That same morning, my mom called me into her room and said that what I did was horrible because I'm already old and I can't cry like that over things like that. There was no point in continuing to fight, so I told her I wanted to go see my aunt (who doesn't live that far away), because I can't stand being in that house any longer. My mom got worse, she started yelling at me, my dad arrived and we agreed that I would go out with my dad to the mall and the movies. We had a good time, at least.
But when I arrived, my mom said to me "Why didn't you stay there? I didn't want you to come home," I just tried to ignore her. I went to my room, my parents argued because my mom was still drunk, and my mom just went to my room, looked out the door and simply said "Don't talk to me anymore, I don't want to see you again, I hate you" I don't know what's going on, I just need to talk to someone and understand why my mom is like this
