I have about 50k in savings and I'm still saving. I am 28. I work full time. My mom and I live in a cluttered studio apartment. She says that all my money will be gone once I move out. She doesn't want me to drive either. I don't even have my driver's license because she won't let me. She said that my money will be gone once I drive too. She still treats me as if I were 16 years old. She always said that I would never amount to anything and would never make it without her. Will I still be struggling even with 50k saved up? Is this a manipulation? Because I don't know how much longer I can last in this studio apartment.
