TL:DR; I tried downloading other mods and I think I borked the entire dialogue interface the start menu, how do I fix my misdeeds? 😅

Hello Reddit! I have spent the last few hours tinkering with the game, trying to figure out where things went wrong.
Initially, it ran… fine. Crashes. Long loading screens. But it ran. I delighted at the roleplaying options, the dialogue choices, the promise of faction questlines. Only for disaster to strike! After downloading some of the recommended mods onto Vortex (where I’d previously installed uninstalled stuff for a Fallout 4 playthrough, years before), I restarted the game. Stuff ran smoother! Yay!
But now, some weirdness: I get a message saying that I need to have XDI (Extended Dialogue Interface) installed. So, install it I do, and that’s when the weirdness REALLY began. The dialogue options (especially for the skillchecks) just look.. weird. Some options aren’t even appearing.
I uninstall Fallout 4, Fallout: London, and Vortex. I reinstall everything. I start a fresh playthrough. This time, it’s even MORE off-kilter. The intro cutscene and menu is vanilla FO4, and the dialogue problems persist.
Wayfarers of Post Apocalyptia, I beg your aid on bended knee. I had but a taste, a TASTE, of the incredible game Team FOLON put together, and I messed it up somehow with my ignorance and my meddling.
How do I redeem my horrible misdeeds!? Or at least, my player experience? Is there a way I can more fully uninstall / purge everything from my computer, and reinstall afresh? I’m pretty ignorant about how these things work (as you can tell from the fact that i’m sharing pictures of the screen instead of screenshots), but I want to wrap my head around it. I MUST. I have so many ideas for characters with immense roleplay potential!
Aid will be repaid in eternal gratitude, spare Metro tickets (if I find them), and I’ll never, EVER refuse you a Stimpack in your hour of need.
