Our passing offense in comparison to CAR

I posted this somewhere else, but thought maybe people would be interested in this comparison:

We definitely have thrown way too much to Julio (2nd in the league to Deandre Hopkins). I took a quick minute while procrastinating to compare Ryan's targets to Cam Newton's (CAR).

Most of Cam's targets are to Greg Olsen (TE) and his targets are much more widespread, which is similar to how our offense ran when we had TG. CAR does not have their #1 (Benjamin).

Our 2-4 WRs account for 25.2% of targets.

CAR's 2-4 WRs account for 42.4% of targets.

Freeman's total percentage of targets (14.3) are greater than the 3 RBs of Carolina combined (12.0).

Ball distribution is a problem and it seems Shanahan is having Matty Ice get rid of the ball almost immediately instead of going through his progressions.
