WASH scored 3 touchdowns from 3 drives with excellent field position: one bad special teams play, one aggressive failed 4th and 3 attempt at midfield, and one Ridder interception in their own territory. Eliminate just one of these scenarios and I think we win the game. You can argue the end of the game semantics all you want but I saw a desperate team playing desperate, never the right move in this league.
After weeks 3 and 4, I'm pretty content with how well this team has moved the ball. O-Line has stepped it up from a pass protection standpoint. Defense looks incredible. The reality is we will not blow teams out as long as Ridder is our QB. So to me this team needs to take their "layups" and quit being so cute. Rely on the Defense, which is the strength of this team after 6 weeks. No, its not the modern NFL, but its what we got.
