The one thing I have always wondered about Meredy's magic...[Discussion]

Where, pray tell, does the word "Maguilty" come from?

Every other magic spell used in the entire series has some basis to the name. Even bizarre sounding spells like 'Grand Chariot' have some type of meaning to why they are called that, even if it isn't inherently obvious.

But the spells Meredy uses are called "Maguilty Sense" spells. As far as I can tell, there is no real world origin for where this term comes from, but that doesn't fit with how Mashima creates the names for the spells. So I'm just lost here.

Anyone have any clue as to what Maguilty is actually supposed to mean?
