[Discussion] Am I the only one that thought Lucy and Grey had more chemistry than Natsu and Lucy at the beginning to middle of the series before Juvia and the NatsuXLucy ship bait?

I honestly thought the author was diverting our expectations of "main characher/heroX heroine/ female lead" trope. I thought it was refreshing but never happened.
Though typical, NatsuXLucy obviously works well too.
