Hello everyone. I have some issues with the performance of the game on my laptop. The problem I'm facing is that it seems like the game runs smoothly (like I can see the fish swim and the belts move without any hiccups) but when I try to run it lags out, making my character continue running when I have stopped pressing the button.

This makes it pretty annoying to run around and actually play the game. Now I play it on my laptop, which is a cheap HP think pad since it's all I can afford. Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue that doesnt require buying a new pc? I read in previous threads that this game could run on a potato so I think I'm doing something wrong. I should also add this problem starts when I'm getting to blue/purple science.
