Howdy folks. Can anyone help me interpret the debug info that I can call up the left border of the screen with the very-rapidly-flickering numbers that, even if screengrabbed, have never made any sense to me? I get the concept of what those numbers convey, but it's all a non-descriptive jumbled mess to me. I run a test map with Creative Mod and a handful of other small nickel and dime mods.
I've isolated between autosaves within the last 3-ish gameplay hours that at some point during a very long and tedious effort of removing lots of land tiles to reposition things just so... is leading to super lag, even though there's nothing that I'm doing that approaches anything like the scale of other large blueprint and large deconstruct jobs so far. To lay out my designs the way I want to, it involves using the Magic Wand tool to spawn deep-ocean tiles across several hundred thousand tiles of Landfill being removed and replaced by water. And now the save is laggy af. Save-scumming back and forth within a time-elapsed window of about 2.5 gameplay hours provided some insight, but I still cannot seem to pinpoint (or recognize) the tipping point.
Here's the confusing part: This save was created more than 100 game-hours ago, and was originally spawned from an Island-type mapseed back in mid v0.17, roughly v0.17.3x, I think (I can verify later if this is important, am on mobile now). This current effort to replace a few hundred thousand tiles of landfill back to deep-ocean tiles isn't even within the top 10 largest teraforming commands I've ever performed on this test map. When the map first started, I selected the island-type map, ordered a few very large deconstruct orders, showed up the edges with Landfill and the Magic Wand tool placing deep-ocean tiles out to the edges of the cheat-radar's maximum range. I've made experimental city block designs and patterns, I've tried my hand at making some concrete art, and I have various designs for train stations, green chip builds, various layouts for mid- and late-game smelt stacks, etc.
