[Space Exploration] Waterless Planets

Post Body

So I’m on my 3rd Spex game, getting to the point where I almost have a handle on it.

Anyway, waterless planets are really irking me. In my last game, I tried my damndest to make a base on a waterless vulcanite-rich planet, but I just could not keep it going without constant trips there to fix things.

There’s just so little you can do locally without water. Power sucks, no oil processing, and all the advanced ores need water to refine them. No oil means no uranium so no nuclear power.

Anyway, I’m wondering if there’s a viable workaround in missing. I’ve tried delivery cannons shooting water barrels with circuit controls, but any power interruption and the cannon starts pounding the base, and power is touchy as hell without stable water.

Is shipping ice a viable option? Maybe from a cryonite planet so it can be frozen on site and delivered?
