Hi all,
I'm working on setting up a core mining operation on Nauvis for the first time. The fact that this is modded is actually irrelevant, this problem applies to vanilla as well. I'm running a cityblock base (thanks Nilaus) and I want the trains from my core miner to get priority over the trains from my mining blocks.
So far I've come up with a solution but I can't quite get it to work. My idea is to have the core mining station send a signal over my global circuit network when there is a fully loaded train waiting there, and all the trains from the regular mining station read that signal and are only allowed to leave when they are full AND that signal is not present. The problem is that my requester stations are limited by train limit, and the train from the core mining station actually moves ever so slightly out of the station, only to stop because the destination is full, removing the signal from the network...
Any ideas how I can concoct something that makes the trains from the regular stations wait until there isn't a fully loaded train available for that resource at the core miners?
EDIT: I think I figured it out! Solution I'm testing now in the comments.
