I think what both are missing is the general overall rule of attractiveness: everyone likes what they like.

You can’t be compelled to be attracted to short men, you can’t be compelled to find heavier people attractive.

You shouldn’t disparage, insult or make assumptions about anyone for displaying traits you are personally not attracted to. That’s rude.

No one should feel guilty for wanting what they want though. The physical chemistry has to be there if sexual interest is important to you.
