Need Some Help Reinstalling I Have No Idea What To Do

Hi - I haven’t used Facebook Messenger in a long while and had an awful time trying to get it to work again. I do have an acct. I wanted to reinstall and use (iOS) but it didn’t recognize my info (reset my pw) and also asked me to use an authentication app. But I _think_ it says to use your own pic to proceed? Then I can’t….because I don’t have a pic and can’t get past the screen that asks for authentication.

What do I need to do to get this working again? Any advice would be appreciated.
