I imagine this probably sounds like a weird question, but it's been in the back of my mind for a while.
Soon after I proposed to my ex-wife, I found out through a mutual friend of my previous ex's that someone on Facebook contacted my previous ex (through Facebook chat) to ask what kind of ring I might have given her (to compare to the ring I gave my ex). The mutual friend had sent screenshots of the chat, so I know the name that was used for the Facebook account that contacted her. I had searched online for that name, but it seems it's a common enough name that there are multiple people with that name, so I didn't find anything conclusive. I did ask my ex about it, and she said she didn't know anything about it. I'm still a little curious about who that might have been, but I'm not sure if there's a good way to really find out who it was.
