Post Body

Hi. Recently a local FB friend (who I know personally in our small Australian rural town & he's NOT a Scammer), had a PM sent to him, supposedly by me asking to borrow money from him. He sent me a PM asking me if I'd received the money of which I was puzzled cos I never asked to borrow from him in the 1st instance & never would. The Scammer asked him to send it via E-transfer (of which), I wouldn't even know how to access. My friend thankfully declined (in his words he would've had difficulty explaining the transfer of money to his wife b4 consulting her 1st), so the Scammer slipped up. I was able to delete all the Fake messages (& my friend), deleted his replies. Just makes 1 wonder at the lengths these Scammers will go to try to steal from unsuspecting FB users. Thanks
