Can any one help?? Cant unlink accounts

I'm trying to unlink a facebook account I created from my main account
I've followed the steps Facebook provides
The account in question shows up in meta centre at the top but there is NO option to remove it and when I looked on the linked accounts section it isnt there
This is really winding me up now, facebook is pretty broken, please can someone help me
