I'm getting a general parts list together. So far i've found:
BD Power Exhaust manifold kit: includes driver and passenger manifolds manifold gaskets studs bolts ^ (on sale right now but by the time I have the money for it it probably won't be, it's $395 before tax normally on their website)
BD Power Turbo Fitting Kit: Includes 4 coolant fittings 4 double ended Exhaust downpipe studs 4 M10 exhaust nuts 6 turbocharger bolts Gaskets ($257 before tax)
This repair will be spendy, and my truck will be out of commission for the duration, so I really don't want to have to go back and do it again. I cannot find any information for motorcraft turbo oil line parts almost anywhere, just a bunch of Dorman crap. And none of those listing reference the original freaking part number. I get these trucks are old(er) but good hell. Even scrolling through f150forum and ecoboost forums, everybody says 'hey, replace those in line filters' but NOBODY GIVES A PART NUMBER. Ugh. This is starting to give me flashbacks to my '08 cam phasers, may Luna rest in peace. If I genuinely have to put Dorman parts in it for just that one thing, I will make peace with that. But anybody who knows and loves ford knows you really should only use motorcraft parts. While I'd love to just upgrade everything to race versions, those kits are expensive and I just can't swing it. I already have to break parts-purchasing up into different paychecks just to afford it at all. Still cheaper than buying another truck after only 6 months with this one. Rant over, any help or guidance would be greatly, greatly appreciated.
