Post Body

So I just purchased this truck and overall I'm very pleased. It was only $750 which I found to be a great price but as assumed, it's not without its issues. Hoping someone here may have some insight, suggestions or simple advise.

Issues I'm finding are:

1) Has a misfire on 7 and 8. I replaced the plug on cylinder 8 which made a huge difference. I'm struggling to get the ignition coil off #7 just because of space. Mostly I just don't know what can be taken off without creating bigger headaches.

2) today my rear brake pad quite literally fell off. I knew it was binding up so I haven't been driving it but I moved it 5 feet. Any idea why it would be binding up? Remaining 3 brakes are fine.

3) the bed is downright scary. Pretty sure it's being held on by duct tape and superglue. So I want to take it off and put on a wooden homemade flatbed/stateside. I plan to use (4) 4x4's on the frame running the width, then 1x6's or 2x6's as a bed floor. Some D rings on the floor for load securement, 2x4's for the stakebed and rear gate. Anyone have any experience with this? Pics? Although I don't know if you can comment with photos on here. But any suggestions?
