Bought a 2013 Lariat with 97,000 miles. Thru 3 tanks with about 70 percent in town and 30 percent highway driving I'm averaging about 12.8 mpg. That aint gonna work. I knew I wasn't going to average 20 but the Ram 5.7 hemi with 190,000 I sold got better then that. So I guess its a 2 part question. What are you all getting out of yours and what can I try to do to help mine? Thanks.
***EDIT***. Thanks for all the info everyone. I guess Ill always be dumb on this stuff because Ill never understand how people can get 5-8 MPG difference on same motor. Also had brand new tires put on when I bought it. Checked them today and they were at about 60-65 PSI. Dont know if that would make any difference but I think it calls for about 35 PSI.
Oh goodness. Now we have to watch half the commenters lie about their gas mileage. 🥲
