Post Body

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post but I am at a loss.

I have been losing vision at a pretty steady rate in one eye since I was 17 or 18. Other eye is 20/20.

I have seen a few doctors and they do not seem to know what's causing it. Currently at 20/300. It was 20/150 at 18.

First eye dr: we don't know what is causing this; prescribed contact lens for single eye

second eye dr: still doesn't know what caused this; notes extreme dry eye and says only use the contact lens if using eye drops 8-10x/day

third eye dr: agrees with the second one; insists that I must have some head trauma but I have no memory nor do family members

fourth eye dr: states that at some point my eye just decided to give up (....?)

Does anyone have thoughts here? The dry eye is due to insufficient tear production, not duct blockage.
