When you were a vegan did you find that the main problem with the vegan diet was that by removing meat and diary products from your diet, your diet became so restrictive it was not viable and explains why so few people follow the vegan diet. Did you find that eating out was difficult because there were so few vegan options on menus. I have thought about what a vegan diet would be like and being too restrictive would be a major issue for me. For instance, I wouldn't be able to eat eggs and removing jus this one food would be a major problem for me. I like omelettes, quiches, poached and fried eggs. Under a vegan diet I wouldn't be able to eat these items. Egg is used as an ingredient in a wide range of foods such as ice cream which I wouldn't be able to eat.
