I got expired but free goat cheese. It still was very white and had a normal scent. But i go to taste it and ooooof!! So sour!! Good but should goat cheese be sour? Online i see mixed responses that it should be mild with a slight gamey taste. No it was super sour imo..

Im doing goat cheese because I struggle with lactose and i got it for free soooo. It still has lactose but i heard its easier on the stomach

For what its worth I didnt get food poisoning :) im just curious if goat cheese is normally particularly sour? I havent had this stuff in over 5 years!!! It was good and i may buy fresh goat or sheep cheese soon

Cows milk is 👎👎👎👎 imo.. not only the taste but the stomach woes, lol (sorry dairy fans)
