How do you reckon vegans would react to lab-grown meat amd other animal products becoming the norm?

Post Body

Never was a vegan or vegetarian, myself. Mostly came to this sub because my sister is falling into it to the point of becoming rather bothersome.

So it made me want to ask this question to you all. From what I habe experienced, much of veganism is a weird cultish superiority complex that ignores the realities of modern industrialism, where boycotting simply does not effect global companies.

I'm almost inclined to believe that vegans will start fearmongering about it being "unnatural", as we've seen some do with GMOs.

The question is more, once lab grown meat becomes cheaper than its predecessor, will the meat industry be able to manipulate the rules and regulations to sell it to unwitting customers.

The answer to that is a yes in a font so big our computers can't handle it yet.

Dogs are omnivores, not carnivores.

The question makes more sense about cats, which are carnivores.
