How do I get rid of these thoughts?
Post Body

I wouldn’t consider myself an incel but I sometimes have thoughts that are incel adjacent. One of these thoughts is that women never hold each other accountable. It seems like if a man does something bad or messed up women jump at the chance to condemn him. However, a woman could do the exact same thing and other women would defend her and make excuses. One example is cheating, if a man cheats, women have no problem calling him a pos (which he is) but if a woman cheats it seems like most women will make excuses like “she must have had a reason” “he probably deserved it” “we don’t know the full story”. I want to believe this isn’t true but I’ve seen it occur a lot. It’s just kind of frustrating that men are always expected to hold other men accountable but it doesn’t seem like women are held to the same standard.
