When I used to camp as a kid, I didn't need a sleeping mat and I could sleep on fairly rough ground (even using a rolled up jumper/sweater as a pillow) and I would wake up feeling great.
Now, approaching 40, I have a camper van. The fold down bed is fairly hard but it's comfy enough. Last weekend I went away for a night and even took pillows from home (instead of the camping pillows u have). I woke up with some serious back stiffness and, even today, I'm still suffering from it.
So, please explain like I'm 5, why does getting old feel like you're getting old in this case 😊
