ELI5: Why does shaking a bottle full of bubbles not make the sloshing sound you'd expect from shaking a bottle?

When you're shaking a bottle. Let's say, Soapy water. It will start out making a sloshing sound but once bubbles start forming the sound is almost completely muted.
