https://doi.org/10.1080/14681360500487470 I'm confused by this concept because I thought clicking a button when the screen turns green, or catching a falling ruler within 250 milliseconds is a conscious reaction and not a reflex , yet we are only consciously aware of a change in our environment after half a second, which may lead one to believe that our 250 millisecond reaction to a simple stimulus is really an unconscious one ?
