Post Body
My spouse and I are from East Asia and are considering moving (back) close to the family for a few years.
We both got job offers in both cities and started to wonder which place to go. We work in IT and the offers from both cities are similar in terms of salaries after tax (as we need to pay US tax anyways...)
Main questions and concerns we have
- career: we worry that Japanese working environment may discriminate against women.
- education: we want to have good education in English as this is likely not a long term thing. We don't know if it would be easy to find international schools in either place.
If you have other experiences, feel free to share. I'd like to understand more.
