We have been looking to move away from the USA for quite some time. However, we have been very reluctant to pull the trigger. Mainly bc our families are here, and my spouse is a medical doctor. He is not fluent enough in Spanish to pass the needed exams, so that leaves us with English speaking countries. He is also a British citizen by birth. We're not keen on the UK due to the weather, but have been contemplating Gibraltar as a good compromise.
My question is, what is it like living there?
More specifically:
Are there green spaces for dogs?
If you have a dog, how big of an issue is it to cross the Spanish/EU border with one?
Is the general feel more British or an amalgamation of different cultures?
How's the food?
Will we need to up our Spanish game?
What are the schools like?
