I've been back and forth with a Greek Old calendarists group and i just question if I've made the right choice. While this group doesn't have an opinion on Russia, they still have the other junk associated with more traditional orthodox. I'm actually getting pissed at other members as all they ever talk about is fucking conspiracy theories. I am planning on working in information technology and in that field all of the latest technology is needed, including 5g. I dread slower internet all because some special snowflakes got it in their head that 5g somehow causes radiation. There are also a lot of young earth creationists because God forbid the early church fathers were agnostic on the age of the Earth. Let's also throw in the people who unironically think i will become trans by watching anime. Anime has actually played a very important role in my life as it helped relax in hard times. I've honestly thought about going to a Belarusian orthodox church or if an EP Russian community gets established in my area, i would go there. I just don't know anymore. My priest is very level headed and affirms evolution which is a relief for me. I've honestly stopped doing church activities because without fail, everyone always brings up conspiracy theories. I plan to replace the gap left by me not being active in the church by getting involved with my local lithuanian community since my great grandfather was from Lithuania.
