i’ve been trying with little luck to trade my album (especially photobook) photocard pulls. in my country at least, you can rank how difficult it would be to trade for and with certain members (eg, i would say baekhyun is the biggest trump card: the easiest to trade using and the hardest to trade for; followed by d.o./kyungsoo, chanyeol and sehun in rapid succession).
for example, i’ve been trying to get my hands on d.o./kyungsoo’s o and smini ver through trading, have relatively strong trade card members, but i’m at the brink of giving up. i didn’t want to have to spend more money, but i already bought the smini pc just so i can have one of the pcs of him in that particular outfit. the thing is i don’t think the general condition of the photobook album pulls are talked about.
by and large, the pb pc pulls i’ve seen of this album have this vague distortion at the back, where it looks like a dent but isn’t — just a dull impression where the laminate dips just the slightest bit downward so it reflects light differently. it’s only visible when you shine a light at the area, and not at all in any different angle. even if you lay it facedown on a flat surface and try to see if the pc is bent, nothing. it doesn’t show up at the front of the pc. it’s not a line or a scratch. i’ve had two people show interest then dip (one just stopped replying, one sent their own pc condition pic, but sped through the back of the card where you would find the impression) after i spent an hour sending dozens of videos and pictures. because these people have a sought after card, they feel the right to be super nitpicky about the trade condition, and it would be fair if they were completely transparent about the condition of their pc and acknowledge that completely flat, perfectly glossed exist pb pcs are very rare, if they exist at all.
i just feel pretty frustrated about it, and resigned to the fact that i might just have to give up completely on owning the pc i want, or spend another 6-10 USD on obtaining it. :/
