Mom's reaction to rejecting a potential religious husband
Post Body

Hey lovely people, just a rant I want to get it out. My mom came to tell me about an "amazing" potential husband in medical field and she explained what a great match it would be and I should really consider especially with my age (I'm 28- so very old for our communities....). I told mom no straight away, and that I am not going to marry a religous man. It is not good for him, me or our future family. She was very disappointed and upset. Eventhough at this stage she knows I am not religious, but I guess she had some hope. Anyways I am sharing this because I feel bad; no matter how much we works on ourselves, it is always hard to feel like you keep disappointing your family.
