Warning: Dumb question:
I might be overly sensitive about this, but I get very annoyed when I have to explain that I'm not a Muslim to everyone I meet. I mean, I'm a slightly tanned Middle Eastern guy, so I guess I look like a Muslim, but how can I stop looking like a Muslim?
Whenever I meet a new person, and they ask me where I'm from, I have to explain that I'm from Iran, and I'm not a Muslim. If I don't mention this, they would automatically assume that I'm a Muslim.
Is there any way that I can prevent this so that people wouldn't automatically think I'm a Muslim? Perhaps getting some un-Islamic tattoos and wearing offensive shirts would help?
