This actually disturbed me so much back when I was more religious. Don’t make fun of me but the whole reason I started following God and religion more seriously back then was because I was really depressed and suicidal but I thought it would all be worth it once I get to heaven. I’m not considered conventionally attractive by the beauty standard and all I crave is for a man to find me beautiful and commit to me and love me forever in a MONOGAMOUS relationship.

Then I found out the whole concept of hoors. Come on bro. What’s the point of staying in this religion if I have to be miserable in life and not even get a good reward but basically a punishment in heaven? This just feels so dirty and silly and like it could not have come from God.

Anyways, it really irks me when male scholars completely brush women off when they bring up this topic.
