Is there any humor in Islam? I don’t mean jokes about Islam or Muslims; I’m talking about humor which permeates the culture, not unlike the Jews, who are a specific religious group widely known to incorporate humor in to their way of life.

I’ve heard that Muslim women wear hijabs and niqabs so that men aren’t tempted by them? Does that make it their fault if they’re raped?

Is the religion taught as fact in schools where sharia law is a thing? Are holy events and scripture taught to people as truth just as science and literature are taught as truth in western countries?

How do Muslim men deal with fetishes? Are there BDSM clubs underground? A solid 30% of the worlds population has one or more sexual fetishes, so I’m really just wondering how that statistic is expressed in Islamic countries?

Do people really get their hands chopped off for stealing, or is that just western exaggeration based on how things used to be?

From what I have been told, Muslim men fight their own homosexuality by believing it’s a test from god. In the afterlife, do you guys really want to be heterosexual? If women are of no interest to you, then what are you supposed to do with 72 virgin women?

Do people realize that Mohammed is a deeply flawed and quite probably psychotic individual based on all available sources of information? He’s portrayed as perfect, but he was a killer, apparently a sadist, a sex fiend, and apparently a real asshole to those around him. How do you know he’s the final prophet? Because he said so?

No, seriously, think about it. Do you really think he’s the final prophet based on his words alone? He was probably a liar, and he certainly was no model of man. To trust him in his assertion that everything he says is the final word, forever, no matter what, do you not see that as both dangerously closed minded and foolish, particularly considering all of the contradictions in his teachings?

For the ex Muslims: do you feel embarrassed or ashamed that you believed such ridiculous nonsense? Please take no offense to that; I respect you a great deal but still can’t help wondering.
